Drilled #30 pilot holes in the sides of the U-00001A (front) and U-00001B (aft) wheel fairings. Clecoed the aft end of the U-00002 Wheel Fairing Bracket to the aft fairing. Temporarily attached the front and aft fairings and measured the amount of material to be trimmed from the aft end of the front fairing. Trimmed the aft edged of the front fairing and sanded until the #30 pilot holes at the sides lined up with the holes in the bracket. Clecoed the fairings to the brackets. Match-drilled #40 holes in the front and aft fairings.
Applied epoxy flox mixture on the roughened part of the U-00006B Splice Strips and clecoed to the U-00005A Wheel Fairing Front. Riveted the Splice Strips to the Wheel Fairing Front. Had to use AN426AD3-4 rivets (versus AN426AD3-3.5) in a couple of places where the fairing was thick. Cleaned the excess epoxy from the fairings.
