Brief Description: Prepped aircraft for DAR inspection
Thanksgiving Day. Worked on the airplane to get it ready for inspection by the FAA DAR. Installed the Baggage Bulkhead Corrugation and Floor Cover. Also placed the screws at the bottom of the Cowl Bottom. Reinstalled the carpeting in the baggage compartment, the seat backs and cushions. Installed the Map Pocket over the tunnel cover. I did not install the floor and tunnel carpeting in case the DAR asks to look under the tunnel and floor covers.
Removed the grommet from the right Baggage Corner Skin. Filed the hole for the right Flaperon Torque Tube to round the edges better. Applied powder coating touch-up paint to the scratches on the torque tube. Placed a new grommet around the hole. Also installed the inspection panels at the bottom of the fuselage. Did some clean up of the hangar.
