Brief Description: Installed Data Plate, sealed Canopy Fairing

51A-06: Match-drilled #30 holes in the F-1280-L Tailcone Skin for the Data Plate. Deburred the holes and primed the area where the plate will be attached. Riveted the plate on the skin.
34-15: Sprayed (air brushed) the Canopy Fairing with a white epoxy coating from Poly-Fiber. I made a mess during preparation. I weighed/measured the epoxy, catalyst and reducer but before I could mix the parts, the epoxy and reducer dissolved the plastic cups and spilled on the work table and the postal scale I was using. I used glass containers after that. The epoxy mixture was quite thin and it was hard to cover the dark spots on the fairing. It’s not very pretty but at least the fairing is somewhat protected. It will be painted later on, anyway.
PAP G1-1, 42D-30: Worked on the GTR 200 radio again and I still can’t make it to work right. Adjusted the potentiometers and, again, there was no noticeable change in volume or the distortion. I wonder if there is something wrong with the Control Module. I’ll have to ask a specialist for help.
