Removed the peel ply from the center fiberglass layup of the Canopy Fairing. Sanded the entire fairing with 60, 80, 100 and 150 grit sand paper. Removed the top (second) layer of electrical tape from the canopy and sanded the transition with 150 grit sand paper. Brushed a heavy coat of epoxy resin on the aft part of the fairing and overlapping the electrical tape (bottom and 1st layer). There are some gaps and low areas in the layup which I need to fill with microballoons.
