Brief Description: Final stab cable adjustment, fuel pump noise filte
32-14: Did final adjustments of the turnbuckles on the stabilator cables. There are approximately 4 threads exposed at the ends. I contacted Van’s and they said this was OK. Installed the Lock Clips on the turnbuckles. My cable tension was set at 45 lbs with the ambient temperature between 74-76 degrees. I suspect the cables may loosen or lengthen some later and then I can tighten and have fewer threads showing.
OP-50: Installed the optional ES-00102 Fuel Pump Noise Filter. Secured it to the wire bundle in the tunnel with zip ties. Applied red RTV sealant under the noise filter. Connected the Ground ring terminal to the bolt on the right side of the fuel pump. Applied torque seal on the bolt after torqueing to 60 lbs.
