34-02 – I got new C-1216 Gas Struts and final-drilled the holes ¼ and 3/8. I messed up the previous ones (made the holes too big). Filed and smoothed the epoxy I had placed to cover the wrong holes in the forward bow of the Canopy Frame.
34-10 – Countersunk the 2 holes in the C-1205 Latch Block and tapped the holes in the block and the bottom of the Roll Bar. Screwed the Latch Block in place. Trial fitted the Canopy Latch (WD-1218) in the Canopy Frame but I had over-shortened the straight tube of the Latch and the holes in the tube and the Handle do not line up when the assembly is placed in the Canopy Frame. I’ll need to get a replacement.
34-11 - Fabricated the C-1214 Latch Block and match-drilled 2 holes. Will rivet later once I’m sure the latch assembly fits well.
34-12 – Match-drilled and tapped the holes in the forward surface of the Roll Bar Frames for the C-1212 Guide Blocks. Screwed the Blocks to the Roll Bar. The Canopy Frame is a little off centered but will make final adjustments later. Removed the Canopy
