Brief Description: Installed tire on second main wheel
I've been very busy since my move to Columbia, SC, and could not do much work on the airplane. I still have to go back to Virginia to do my Air National Guard drills on certain weekends. I was also in Hawaii for 2 weeks on a humanitarian mission. This is my first free weekend since early February.
I split the other main wheel and installed the inner tube and tire. I noticed later after looking at the Matco Wheels Service Bulletin that I had positioned the valve stem washer and valve nut between the inner tube and the wheel. The picture in the bulletin shows the wheel to between the inner tube and the washer/nut. I did the same (wrong) thing with the other main wheel. Therefore, I had to deflate the tires, disassemble the wheels and install the valve stem washer and valve nut correctly. This was not easy to do. It seemed that there are not enough threads that would go past the hole in the wheel for the nut to engage. After multiple tires I was successful.Reinstalled the inner tube and tire and did the same procedure with the other main wheel.
