Brief Description:  Worked on fuel lines, gascolator & fuel flow meter

I started work on the fuel lines. I ruined 2 pieces of aluminum tubing trying to make the F-1259F Fuel Line Tank-Pump. On the first attempt the first 90 degree bend was too far from the pump end. On the second attempt I ruined the flare while bending the tube. The 3rd attempt was successful. However, I will be short on tubing with the next steps and will order some from Aircraft Spruce. Fortunately, tubing is very inexpensive. I did all the required bends and installed the fittings correctly. Attached the finished tube to the Fuel Pump. Skipped 28-04 because I don't have enough tubing. Turned the fuselage on its left side and riveted the Fuel Valve Bracket to the Bottom Skin. Installed the fittings into the FT-60 Fuel Flow Meter and bolted it to the VA-188 Bracket. The AN4-17A bolts appear too long and may touch the bottom skin when fully tightened. I will either use a slightly shorter bolt or use 2 washers instead of one. Installed the fittings and plugs into the Gas-5 Gascolator and bolted it to the Firewall Bottom. I safety-wired the screws in the Gascolator before bolting it. Installed the AN816-6D Straight Fitting through the Firewall Bottom into the Gascolator.
