Prepared the F-1289B Cross-Over Brake Lines by cutting plastic high pressure tubing to the appropriate length. Slid the nuts and sleeves over the tubing. Inserted the brass inserts in the ends of the tubes. I followed the instruction to soak the plastic tube in boiling waster for one minute and press the inserts into the tubing. This was hard work. It took multiple soakings in boiling water for more than 1 minute at a time to accomplish this task. Tightened the AN3-22A bolts that secure the Rudder Pedal Assembly to the Firewall Shelf and torqued to 22 inch-lbs, and applied torque seal.
