Today I worked for an hour in the morning and an hour at night. I basically riveted the right elevator skeleton together along with the control horn which will be connected to the push rods and stick in the cockpit. The control horn is made of carbon steel and powdered coated white to protect it from corrosion. It is made of steel and not aluminum so it is strong enough to withstand the forces needed to move the elevators while in flight at 200 mph +.
