Riveted HS-609PP bars to HS-603PP spar channels. Set the first two rivets with the squeezer then tried the gun. The gun is much easier and faster. As discussed in the forums, these rivets are just a bit shorter than standard spec, so the shop heads are a little small. I damaged a few of the early factory heads by not holding the set hard enough againts the head. I think the heads should be OK. Checked with builder support: No need to drill out any of these rivets. So that's what rivet tape is for.
