The original engine filter box has the outlet on the side which requires a curved tube running forward to the carby inlet. Since this is a tail dragger there is no nose wheel on the centre of the firewall so I can move the filter box across to centre it behind the carby.
Which seems like a good idea but requires the outlet port to be re-made in the centre of the filter box. So more foam and fibreglass.
