Makes plenty of mess shaving the foam away to make the shape.
The plenum roof needs to have clearance from the cowl. Cutting it in half help this process significantly. THe cowl need to be adjusted to fit back onto the lower cowl anyway. Cutting in half will help that process also. Just need to join it back together in the right place.
