Having gotten the crankcase machined for the new 7/16 through bolts the cylinder base holes needed to be enlarged to fit the bolts. The bores needed to be honed to remove the surface corrosion. Brady is helping me putting th eengine back together and he put his honing skills to work on the cylinders.
We took the values out as the springs need to be changed as part of the conversion to solid lifter. The exhaust vale stems have suffered some corosion on the stem. I am going to need to replace the exhaust values as only two of them are really useable. All inlet values are OK and the value seats are pretty good after a light lap.
