Brief Description: Removed the engine from the fuselage
The aircraft kit came with a new Jabiru 3300A fitted to the fuselage. The engine has never been run outside the factory but is 8 years old. In Sep 13 Jabiru releases a service bulletin JSB 031-2 Engine Through Bolts. This bulletin is applicable to my engine and would require the through bolts to be replaced. Considering the age of the engine and my desire to complete this service bulletin I decided to remove the engine and start to get ready to do this work.
A nice part of the day was that my duaghter was able to come over and help which made for a very enjoyable day for me.
