Brief Description: Left Wing - L Angles and Locker divider
Continued installing the L angles from the B Mod upgrade to the top surface. These stiffen the top skin at about mid cord.
I have decided not to double the skin under the wing walk area (Ribes 1-4). This is a common addition that some builders apply to make this area stiffer when stepping up to the cockpit. I cut out a sheet for this and then weighted it. It adds 500g to the wing. Not much but every bit counts. The centre between 2-3 is probably where most people will step and the ribs are slightly wider there so the skin does flex. I role played getting intot he cockpit and determined that you probably only step in two places. So I just made two small doublers for these ares. 150g.
I also doubled rear corner of the wing locker hole with a triangular gusset for three rivets. I had simplified the locker door by making it external which works well. This means you don't need the shim the skin around the hole. The gusset replaces the shim in the rear corner.
The locker divider has been steadily being messed up over the last few weeks. Holes inthe wrong place etc. So I decided to make another one. The new one is much better.
