I remade the forward canopy arm covers. This allowed me to make them a little deeper and thereby cover the gap along the bottom of the forward are. This was matched into the side cover which is also a little deepr. Time spent getting the join worked out in the forward corner of the canopy. Here the canopy forward rubber comes down and joins the forward and aft side skins on the outside and the internal side skin on the inside. All these come together on different curves. Took most of the day but came out pretty nice.
Drilled all the canopy installation rivets to full size and disassembled the complete canopy ready for deburring and priming. Fitteed the canopy release cable to both left and right side. Including connecting cable sheeth through the forward canopy bow.
Drilled all canopy locating holes from pilot to 5/16 using a step drill. Waited for the heat of the day (32C) to do this. So far so good and no cracks in the canopy bubble. No more holes to drill so hopefully I can keep it that way for now.
