Well well well... another happy little discovery! Some how when I was orienting the belly skin of the fuselage when I installed it, I got it upside down! Everything is perfectly symmetrical except.... the three holes for the collector tank. One 2" hole for the sump and drain, then two 1/4" holes for the tie down bolts. In other words, I should have flipped the skin over before I installed it, which in a mirror image would have put the holes for the tank on the passenger side, rather than the pilot's side. Oh well, I'll need to make a pattern of the hole spacing, transfer to the passenger side, then drill new holes. Finally I'll have to cover the original holes on the pilot side. No big deal, what's an extra hour or so at this stage? ;-)
