Well... hmmm. A scheduled compression test revealed that #2 cylinder was running lower than the rest. I was worried about this cylinder as I had trouble installing the rings originlly and wondered if I had cracked or chipped them. So... off with its head! I tore the engine back down to the short block and inspected cleaned each cylinder.
