Brief Description:  Cabin heat mod

Anything worth doing is worth doing at least three times!! Since I need better airflow through the cowling for better cooler, I've decided to significantly modify the cowling. For starters, I wasn't happy with my cabin heat muff. It put out WAY TOO MUCH heat, rubbed against the motor mount when the engin torqued, and possibly was creating a block for the exit air. So... I shortened the muff by almost half. I'm much happier with it now, it has plenty of clearance in the motor mount tubes and seems to really open up the bottom area of the cowling to the bottom low pressure exit. Now we'll see if I get enough heat!! ;-) I should, the interior is completely full of stainless steel springs wrapped around the exhaust piple for heat transfer... winter is coming!
