Brief Description: Building Parts for Horizontal Stabilizer
Started with the construction of two SNX-T06-06 clips. These were made from Z02-03 angle stock provided by Sonex. 4 holes were drilled and deburred in the appropriate locations according to the plans. Moved on to the construction of SNX-T06-03 Horizontal Forward Spar Fitting. The part starts out as a 2.5"x2.5"x0.1875" Aluminum extrusion. A large portion of one side is removed with the bandsaw. The remainder of the material is removed with a flush cutting router bit. The inner material was removed with the bandsaw and the radius was created using a step drill. All the rough edges were cleaned up with a vixen file. More work is needed to finish the part.
