Brief Description:  Placing and Installing Side Air Vents

I decided to use NACA ducts bought from Van's Aircraft instead of the simple airvent in the plans. The NACA duct from Van's includeds a template for the cutout. Based on discussions on the Sonex Yahoo! groups, I moved the hole location much more forward then where the plans show it. The centerline of the cutout was 4 1/2" down from the top edge of the side fuselage, and the front edge was 1" from the Side Fuselage/Rudder Pedal angle. The hole on the left side was cut using a rotary tool. I will find a different method for the right side. The hole was cleaned up using files. The left side plasitc piece for the NACA Duct was glued in place using Silicone adhesive. I plan to add three rivets for a more secure finish.
