Brief Description: Finishing up Rear Spar Carry Through
Start off by making the two small SNX-F03-07 spacers. This was made with 0.032" aluminum. Next the Shear Angle, F03-08, was made from Z02-03 bent aluminum stock. The part was cut to size, the sides trimmed to size, and the holes marked and drilled. Everything was deburred. Finally, the Rear Spar Carry Through Assembly, F03-01 was made from parts previous constructed. The parts were carefully placed, clamped and drilled to size. Temporary bolts were placed in the bolt holes and cleco's were placed in the smaller rivet holes. A trip was made to Ace Hardware to my supplies needed for the wing installation/rigging. The last thing accomplished was to erect a tent/canopy in the back yard. This is going to be used as protection during the wing rigging stage.
