Brief Description:  Started Work on Canopy

Permanently attached the Canopy Bows with rivets after up drilling with a #30 drill bit and deburring. The canopy was finally unpacked from it box after 4 years! If I hadn't seen how the canopy "bends" at the Sonex factory, I would have sworn it would't fit! So after bending the canopy in the correct orientation it "pops" into shape. The edges were sanded to remove any burrs. The canopy was placed on the fuselage and first cut marks were made using masking tape. The canopy was cut using a Dremel Cut-off wheel, which kind of melts its way through the canopy material. After cutting one side, the edges were again sanded smooth before proceding to the next side. The process was repeated for all four sides. The canopy was placed back on the fuselage to finish the work session.
