The SNX-L04-10 Gear Locator Tool was located on the lower fuselage. It was clamped in place verifying that all alignment points were correct. The titanium gear legs were test fitted to check lower fuselage holes. I found that the holes had to be adjusted a little bit to allow the gear to pass through. With the sanding attachment on the Dremel, the holes was made larger. After this modification, the gear legs passed smoothly throught hte holes. The Welded Gear Leg mounts for Tri-Gear was placed in their approximate location and the gear legs were slide up into the socket designed for them. The gear legs were clamped to the Gear Locator Tool.
