Trim the inboard ends of the HS-702 flanges as shown in the HS-702 Front Spar Tab Detail. Be sure to only trim the flanges down to about halfway along the bend. Flatten the remainder of the bend.
I wasn't able to do this until now as there was no way to know where the hole for the skin would be located. After drilling all of the holes and disassembling the horizontal stablizer for the first time, I was able to locate where this part should be trimmed.
