Brief Description:  CANOPY FIBERGLASS FRAME

Made work bench wider for the canopy frame to sit on. Used 3/4 sanded plywood screwed down to work bench.

Next I added two 2x4 to each side of the canopy fiberglass frame 28 3/16" I.D. of frame.
2x4 need to be long enough to support the sides completely. I changed them out from what pic 2 shows.

Make sure canopy frame is sqaure & straight then drill/screw fiberglass frame on each side to 2x4 kind of low to hold frame square & straight. This fiberglass will be trimmed off later.

Before putting canopy into frame trim canopy protective plastic back about 3-4" and tape with painters tape so plactic doesn't interfere with the frame and the tape will protect canpy from scratches.

Then slide canopy into frame, back end first then front. Push canopy up into the back of fiberglass frame and then in the front. I clamped mine in the front to hold eveything. It worked out the back of the canopy sit on the frame fiberglass reinforcement which help push canopy up in the back. (see Pic 3). This will be trimmed agian later.
