Now that flap skin has been trimmed to correct lenght. (1/8" gap) the flap can be fitted to the flap rod. I did this by installing the aileron and setting to neutral postion. Then install flap and align to aileron. I used a cleco and door shim to hold in place. Now drill #30 hole in flap rod tube to hold flap in neutral postion. Later you will up drill to 3/16" for bolt. Remove the flap to cut out the front flap skin to clear flap rod when lowering. Trimmed flap rod 1/2" off end to clear flap skin when in up position. Updrilled # 30 hole to 3/16" and installed bolt and locknut. Installed rear spar nylon guide.
