After a lot of panel and wiring work, the fuselage was lifted with my engine hoist on to a 34" high bench. The main gear legs were attached per plans. The wheels were installed per plans. The aftermarket wheel extentions were installed.
The nose leg and wheels were installed per plans. The rubber donuts have yet to be compressed.
The is feels like a major milestone since now the engine can be mounted and a number of tasks can proceed. Specifically: - fitting the engine cowl - wiring the engine instruments and otherwise proceeding with finalizing the panel - A lot of fiberglass work including the canopy, doors, windows, engine cowling the wheel pants.
