Brief Description: Attached rear deck & Top Skin (10-22,10-23)
I attached the rear deck and associated hardware per 10-22. I was only able to squeeze a few of them, but the rest I had to buck. I marked the bolts on both sides with torque seal. I also attached the aft top skins with clecos. The next step was to create a surface on the bottom of the plane that I can lay down on and not damage anything. I plan to use this same 2” thick foam board on the RV-12 to work on the tail cone service bulletin. To cut the sections I just heated up the blade of my razor knife with a torch and it cuts through like “butter”.
