The next steps in the plans call for fabricating the bar support angle (F-1011D) and the elevator stop (F-1012D). They both turned out great, but the support angle calls for some chamfers and I didn’t pay close enough attention as to which corner to chamfer…of course I picked the wrong one and now I get to order some more material. I checked out a couple local hardware stores, but the angle aluminum in stock at those places all have a small inner fillet…almost a corner. So, I figured I better order the right stuff. I ordered extra material since I will probably need to do a little fabricating if I want to build a double battery tray. While I was waiting, I skipped ahead a little and dilled the aft deck.
