Back to building. I received the replacement trim tab part just before OSH, so prepped the skin, marked and sanded the inner locations for the foam ribs. Bent both skins to the right angle to just hold the ribs without pillowing. I checked the surface, and it appears to line up fairly well against a straight edge across the entire length. I managed to complete one of the trim tab end bends and it turned out ok using the wedge block method called out in the plans. I did use some double-sided tape to keep them in place and the rivet gun to tap down the corner. I’m still struggling with the best way to complete the 15-degree lower leading-edge bend. Time to do a little more research or consult some of my neighbor builders, who are ahead of me.
