Brief Description: Finish tip rib assembly to elevator (9-14)
I’ve been sick all week and work has been crazy busy, so it’s nice to get back to more important matters…building. Finished attaching the tip rib assembly to the elevator for both left and right sides. My hands are a little big, so it was a challenge to hold the bucking bar on the inside and rivet from the outside. Fortunately, Cyndi was able to hold the skins back for me. The trick is to roll the skin back as opposed to just pulling it back, so it doesn’t try to put a bend at the last rivet. After I closed everything, I still see some steps in the skin where it transitions from the spar to the tip rib. Nothing I can do about it now. I’ll have to smooth it out before paint.
