The ADS-B antenna is identical to the transponder antenna and I had already made the reinforcing plate. I decided to mount the antenna on the left side belly directly opposite the transponder antenna. I measured and marked the location and started to drill the #40 holes using the plate as a guide. I removed the plate and deburred all the holes. I dimpled both the belly skin and reinforcing plate. Last, I cleaned and primed the reinforcing plate and set aside to dry.
