The paint on the battery box is dry and now I can rivet the box together. The F-7127A left and right side angles are riveted to the battery box with AN426AD4-5.5 rivets that I had to cut to length from -6 rivets. I used my pneumatic squeezer to set the rivets. Next, I clecoed the 2 K1000-3 nutplates to the side angles and riveted them in place using AN426AD3-3.5 rivets. The battery box is bolted to the firewall using 6 K1000-3 nutplates and AN3 bolts. DWG-31A shows the location of the battery box and requires 4 AN426AD3 rivets be drilled out and the holes increased in size to #12 for the AN3 bolts. I made a level line on the firewall that corresponds to the top of the battery box as shown in DWG-31A. I marked the left edge of the battery box side angle onto the firewall. The alignment looks good and I marked the 4 rivets that will require removal. I will do this tomorrow.
