DWG 28 specifies the location of the static port on the fusalage. I had already purchased the Safeair1 SA-A1 pitot-static kit that includes 2 static ports. The instructions call for a 1/4" hole drilled in the fusalage side skin. I marked both holes and drilled a #40 hole. I enlarged the hole to #30 and thenused my step drill bit to bring it to 1/4". I deburred both holes. I plan is to use adhesive to secure both ports to the fusalage. I will do that at a later time.
