Brief Description: Install Fuel Tank Attach Hardware to Fusalage
I earlier had primed the F-7968-L/R reinforcing angle and the 4 spacers that are riveted and bolted to the inside of the fusalage. The angle supports the fuel tank attach bracket. The spaers and angle are secured with 3 AN426AD3-6 rivets each and 1 AN509-10R12 screw with washer and nut as called out in DWG 38. I clecoed the angle and spacers in place and installed the screw and torqued to specification. I temporarily installed an AN3 bolt in the top hole to hold the angle in alignment and tight against the auxiliary longeron. I decided to back rivet the rivets since space was tight between the angle and bulkhead. I set the 3 rivets and moved to the left side and repeated the process.
