Brief Description: Drill Fuel Tank Attach Bracket Hole
With the hole marked for the 1/4" bolt that supports the fuel tank attach bracket, it was time to drill the 1/4" hole through the wing attach bracket. I made a drill guide from a piece of 1/4" thick aluminum plate and drilled a 1/4" hole in it. I clamped the guide to the attach bracket and drilled the hole. With the hole drilled I bolted the MK1000-428 short platenut to the attach bracket and used the platenut rivet holes as a guide to drill the 2 #40 holes for AN426AD3-5 rivets. I marked the right wing fuel attach bracket hole location, but will drill the 1/4" hole with the wing off to make it easier.
