I now have the two fuel tank attach bracket holes drilled and can use the AN3 bolts to hold the reinforcing angle in place while I drill the remaining four holes. Three of the holes are for AN426AD3-6 rivets and the bottom hole is for an AN509-10R12 countersunk screw which is drilled to #12. I drilled the holes using the holes in the fuselage skin as a drill guide. I deburred the holes and now I could match drill the 2 spacers that would take up the space between the two upper and lower longerons. I used the existing holes I had drilled earlier in the shims and clecoed them to the reinforcing angle. I drilled the holes through the shims using the angle as a guide. I bolted the fuel tank bracket to the fuselage with the shims and used a clamp to secure the bracket to the fuel tank attach ear. I marked the location of the 1/4" AN bolt that would secure the ear to the bracket. I moved on to the right fuel tank attach bracket and repeated the same steps I had done for the left bracket
