Brief Description: Enlarge Fuel Line Through Fusalage to 1"
The fuel line penetrates the fusalge just forward of the main wing spar pocket. Van's had already punched a small hole as a reference. I would have to enlarge the hole through the fusalage skin and also the inner reinforcing web. Problem is the landing gear weldment is already bolted in place and I only have access from the outside. I wound up purchasing a 9/16" to 1" short step drill bit that would do the trick. I lubed up the bit and enlarged both holes to 1". Last I deburred both holes and installed the grommets as called for in the plans.
