With both steps fitting well I need to fit the UHMW blocks to the F-726 rib that will anchor the steps in place. First I had to drill 0.188" holes in the blocks as shown in the instructions. Next I removed the step enough to slide the block over the tube and against the F-726 rib. I clamped the block in place and drilled the two holes through the rib using my angle drill. I repeated the process for the other step. I clecoed both steps back to the fusalage skin and installed the two bolts that secure the block to the rib. Using my angle drill I drilled through the block and step tube for the AN3-25A bolt. I removed both steps and deburred the holes and reinstalled. Later I will finish the step with powder coat or spray paint and rivet both steps to the fusalage.
