I started out reading section 8 of the builders manual as recommended by Van's. I have the quick build fuselage so I have to read the manual as if I have a slow build fusakage to get an idea what has been done and what has not been done and where to start. I read each step and verifyed it had been done on the fusalage and made a QB notation next to each step that had been done at the factory. I clecoed the firewall recess F-601K-1 to the firewall and drilled the holes to fianal size as called for in DWG 19. I removed the firewall recess deburred the holes and dimpled. Last step was to remove the two F-705G angles from the fuselage since they are not required fot the slider canopy as shown in DWG 20.
