Brief Description: Bulkhead 07, PA-012 & PA-013, Skin work
Mounted bulkhead 07 on table and set angle and drilled and clecoed PA-015 to top. Set up and trimmed PA-012 to fit at proper height and length, drilled and clecoed in place. Placed PA-013 and Mounted bulkhead 07 on table and set angle and drilled and clecoed PA-015 to top. Set up and trimmed PA-012 to fit at proper height and length, drilled and clecoed in place. Placed PA-013 and laid out for drilling. Drilled and clecoed in place. Rechecked all measurements and after being satisfied with all dismantled and deburred. Reinstalled with clecos and set up for riveting. Completed riveting of PA-012 to bulkhead 07 using 426-4-6 solid rivets. Riveted Pa013 to bulkhead 07 and PA-012 with 470-4-5 rivets. I clamped side skins and top in place for layout. Laid out rivet lines on side skins at 32mm, drilled and clecoed (should have been 32 on the edges and 64 on the field). Talked to Rick and he said no problem with that. Laid out the top skin as per drawing at 32mm on the edges and 64 in the field. Drilled and clecoed top skin. After looking at the drawings of the cabin to fuselage I feel I have drilled the rivet line on frame 02 prematurely. It would be better to wait until the cabin goes together and the cabin skin PG-226 overlaps PA-022. I will now be able to use the tool for finding the center of the hole on the skin below the top skin. The plans show not to rivet it there but should also say to not drill until placing PG-226.
