Brief Description: Replaced front rib #3 on Rt Wing
Ordered and recieved replacement front rib #3 (right side). To be clear, this is actually a left wing rib since the flange is on the left (if looking at it from the back). I put a peice of paper on the old rib (everything was perfect except for the ganked up fuel return hole) and traced out the significant holes and shapes. Then cut it out with a sharp knife and scissors as a template. I overlayed the new rib with it, drew the tracelines and cut/drilled out the new rib to match. Came out perfectly. I then drew my flange lines, cleco'd the rib into place, strapped down the leading edge, lined up the rib and drilled them.
