Brief Description:  Leading edge Left wing and fuel system research.

Cleco'd nose ribs back on.
Moved and re-leveled build table ('0.0' all the way around....thumbs up).
Aligned and drilled initial holes to hold the bottom of the leading edge skin to the spar.
Started investigating fuel sender since that's coming up.
- Now...I've gone through a lot of permutations on what I'm going to do about this. Probably far more than it's worth. I started from original-by-plans drill in the side of the tank and use the VW mechanical sender (lots of issues with these I've seen), then I decided on capacitive bottom mount, to capacitive top mount, now maybe I'm back in the side mount but capacitive. Investigating the bending capabilities of these things. I kind of think top mount won't work for me becuase the several I've looked at had nearly a 1" profile (25mm) tall (shortest capactive being about 23mm) . The fuel cap itself is only about 10mm tall. Now I don't have a problem with cutting a hole in the noseskin and fabricating a blister, but 23mm-25mm is a bit bloody tall. Sooo. back to the side it is. Now the investigation is to see if I can angle up 4" and down 6" so i can get a full sweep of gauge. That'd take 2 bends though. If not, then I'll just do a 90 deg down drop and only have a good reading between 50% to empty.
