Drilled holes in the access panel support strips for the nut plates. Countersunk for flush rivets to fasten the nut plates. Riveted on the nutplates on flanges on 3 sides. Primed the surfaces that will be riveted together. Riveted the access cover support flanges to the top skin at the lower edges. Applied Permatex Ultra Black to the surfaces before they were riveted together to help keep water from passing through the rivets and seam.
