Brief Description:  Right aileron balance weight

De-burred holes in the aileron skin and the two added ribs. Bolted the balance weight arm to the ribs. Assembled the ribs and weight arm inside the aileron. Riveted the ribs to the skin and reassembled the aileron. Put the aileron on the wing and checked travel. Found it within spec at 11 degrees when measured at the root end of the aileron. Noted that the angle of the arm was too low when the aileron was at the uppermost travel limit. The arm should be raised about 4 degrees. Cut and made a slight bend in the arm. Welded the arm back together. The arm position is better now. Determined how many steel weight pieces would be needed to balance the aileron. Straightened the pieces, drilled the mounting holes so they fit the AN-3 bolts. Cleaned the weights and painted one side. Checked the aileron balance arm position on the left wing. It may need the angle changed slightly too as it should be raised slightly.
