Brief Description: Making and welding exhaust stub gasket ring
The exhaust stub gasket retaining ring was made from a 0.75" long section of 1.375" OD, 0.063" wall thickness SS 304 tubing formed into a cone shape on one end using a forming die from Magnificent Machine. The gasket retaining ring was welded to one end of the exhaust stub. The exhaust stubs were pressed into the cylinder heads after the heads were heated to 450 F.
