Cut an oil filler access door in the right side of the top cowl. Placed a piano hinge at the top edge of the door. Held the hinge in place with two layers of fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. Put three layers of glass cloth on the side edges for a supporting flange under the door. Put the cowling back on and fastened it in place so the door would be in the proper place as the epoxy cures.
