Evaluated the design and progress of the carb heat system I had been working on. I decided that the basic design concept was flawed. Discarded what I had done so far and started over. My current plan is to pick up hot air under the number one cylinder head using a 2" diameter aluminum tube. The tube will have the top 1/3 removed to make a channel that will be placed under the cylinder head. The outlet at the rear is curved outward and upward which will accept 2" SCAT duct. Fabricated brackets which will go under the clamps that hold the EGT probes. The brackets will support the underside of the aluminum tube channel.
